David Oates Art Exhibit

Saturday, April 7, 2007 - 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Location: L.E. Shore Library; 183 Bruce St. S. ; Thornbury

This exhibit features paintings of farm life by popular local artist David Oates. Join us for an opening reception with the artists on Saturday; April 7th; from 2 until 4pm. Exhibit is on display from April 4th through 27th; during regular Library hours.

David Oates' beautiful paintings reflect his love for the rural life. His inspiration for this collection of paintings came from the days of his early youth when he worked on a local farm during summer holidays. Growing up on the Isle of Man in the U.K. and working and living with animals had a profound effect on David. His reverence for country living can be felt throughout this amazing exhibit of wonderfully detailed acrylic and watercolor paintings.

will enjoy fewer stops and more uphill capacity.

And removing lift towers means improved ski terrain and access to Mary Jane’s Lane.

More snowmaking.
Forty new high-temperature snowmaking guns increase snowmaking capability and allow us

to open the slopes for you as early in the season as possible.

More grooming.
We’ve added a new BR 350 grooming vehicle to our fleet to make conditions better than ever.

Now Blue Mountain has over 700 accommodation suites to choose from!
