  Every snowy Saturday and Sunday ALL winter long! Come out to the Station and build a Snowman. We provide the hats,mitts, scarves, carrots for the nose and even coal for eyes! Once you have completed your "snowperson" we will take your picture and email it to you if you like.Come in to the Station and warm up with a cup of hot chocolate and have a tour through the gallery. What a wonderful way to spend time with your family!

  The Magic-of-Children's Art Show is open to children ages 5-14 and represents most of the schools in the Collingwood area. Due to the number of entrants and the number of prizes awarded, the Opening Reception will take place March 4th 1pm to 4pm at the Library Gallery.The Awards Presentation will take place at the Gayety Theatre on March 22 at 6pm. all welcome.

  The Collingwood Skating Club presents its 55th Annual Carnival: Seasons of Georgian Bay, Featuring Special Guest Lesley Hawker, Bronze Medalist 2006 Canadian Championships. Tickets are now on sale at Park Sign, Feminine Touch, Balloon Expressions and Boucher Glass & Mirror in Collingwood. Advance tickets are $10 and $12 at the door. Children under 5 will be free. This is a General Admission event with no refunds. The doors will open at 1:15 p.m. Contact: 705-446-9532 for further information.

  What are they? The province's largest multi-sport event, including both team and individual sports, which began in 1970 as a showcase for amateur sport. When are they held? The Ontario Winter Games are held every two years, alternating with the Summer Games. An Ontario Municipality selected through a bidding process conducted by the Sport Alliance of Ontario hosts the Games. Who are the participants? Provincial level athletes up to 22 years of age. Athletes qualify for the Games through a regional selection process conducted by the Provincial Sport Organizations. Approximately 2,500 to 3,500 athletes, coaches, managers and officials participate in the Games. What is the next level of competition for the athletes? Athletes from the Ontario Games progress to their sport's National Championships, the Canada Games, or possibly junior National teams. Athletes could become members of Canadian teams at the Pan American Games, Commonwealth Games, Olympic Games or World Championships. Who governs the games? The Ontario Winter Games are a partnership between the Ministry of Tourism and Recreation, the Sport Alliance of Ontario, the Cities of London and Barrie, as well as the city's corporate and community sectors.

  The Coors Light Triple Challenge is one of Canada's largest ski and snowboard. The 3-day event features some of the top professional skiers and snowboarders world. Athletes will compete in a collections of events including slopestyles, jam and big air completions for over $30,000 in cash. The activities in the village with concerts, live entertainment and an action sports expo vendor village, featuring the latest and greatest in products and brands with visitors entertained.
